Ma’at / Maat or Mayat (pronounced May’et) is the Kemetic Goddess of Truth, Justice, Harmony and Divine Order. Ma’at, isn’t just the goddess of these concepts, but is the embodiment of them! She is depicted as a winged woman, often with an ostrich feather on her head or a white feather.
Kemetian's believed strongly that every individual is responsible for his or her own life and that life should be lived with other people and the earth in mind. This philosophy is evident in every aspect of Kemetic culture from the way they constructed their cities to the balance and symmetry of their temples and monuments
